THE MEALS

Daily all residents are served a wholesome, dietician-approved, luncheon. Breakfast and supper are each resident’s own responsibility

THE WAITING LIST

Applicants for accommodation of whatever type, must register their name on a waiting list at the village of their choice. There is a once-off fee of R1 000 to get onto the list, and thereafter an annual fee of R150 to remain on the list.

When accommodation becomes available, it is offered to those on the waiting list in date order, from the earliest registered applicant to the most recent.  Although the lists are currently quite long, it does not necessarily mean that an applicant will have to wait years to be offered a unit as many applicants refuse the unit offered  as they are not ready to move at the time.
